Olive oil (72%), black cumin oil (10%), water.
Weight per soap: +/- 150 gr
Properties :
From a cosmetic point of view, it is hypoallergenic and extremely moisturizing, making it ideal for the care of dry or fragile skin such as that of babies, for example.
Aleppo soap, as a superfatted soap, can also be used to treat acne, psoriasis or eczema problems.
It can even be used as a shampoo to combat dandruff. It is also used as a face mask.
Finally, it is an excellent shaving treatment, since it does not irritate the skin.
Black seed oil has a recognized anti-inflammatory effect. It is effective both on muscle and joint pain and locally on inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema.
Conservation :
So make sure you don't leave it lying around in a soap dish unless it has holes to allow water to drain (the soap should not remain in the water).
Remember to turn it over so that it can dry on all sides between uses.
Ideally, store it away from light (especially sunlight) and in a dry place to prevent it from deteriorating. Note that Aleppo soap also acts as a moth repellent (bay leaves keep them away), so storing it in a linen closet is a good idea.
